It's time to start thinking about the OBA 2014 Photo contest. The contest is open to everyone. The only rule is that your photograph must include bees or honey.
Entries must be postmarked no later than September 19, 2014. Photographs will be judged on clarity, content, composition and appeal. Winners will be announced at the 2014 Annual General Meeting in November.
There are three categories under which photographs can be submitted with one winner chosen from each. Prize winners will receive an $85 credit toward OBA membership (CHC per hive cost is excluded), as well as have their photo advance to the Grand Prize level.
One GRAND PRIZE will be awarded. The Grand Prize winner will receive $100.00 and the winning photo will be featured in the annual TTP calendar.
Photo may be used in the Ontario Bee Journal and displayed at 2015 Royal Winter Fair.
