A "BRAND LOGO"

The "100% Ontario Honey" logo has been developed for every Beekeeper in Ontario.  The logo can be used on all of your products that contain 100% Ontario Honey.  The Ontario Beekeepers' Association controls the use of the logo and stipulates conditions for this use.  Conditions of logo use are available on our website.  A digital file may be downloaded from the OBA website.  Your Commerical Printer will be able to utilize this for all your labels, publications and promotions.

"Discover sweet goodness" emphasizes 100% Ontario Honey as a positive nutritional addition to our food choices.  Our slogan reinforces that 100% Ontario Honey provides sweetness and good health, which is an important issue for today's healthy eating.

SYMBOL RECOGNITION

Product and Supplier recognition are very important in building clientele.  To the end, a number of products have been produced to assist in this 100% Ontario Honey recognition campaign.  Currently, the OBA offers T-shirts, hats, banners, signs and producer label templates.

 

100% Honey T-Shirts and Hats

Wear these promotional items to create an image at your store, farmer's market stall or when hosting a community event.

The 100% Ontario Honey T-shirts are available in a "cool lemon" yellow or a "coal" gray colour.  These T-shirts have an added accent of an embroidered Honey Bee on the back shoulder.  Here's an idea, after purchasing your 100% Ontario Honey T-shirts have your company logo embroidered on the T-shirts as well, creating a product and supplier recognition item.

The 100% Ontario Honey hat is a baseball style cap in the "coal" gray, with a bright yellow logo embroidered on the front.  This one size fits all cap is made of 100% cotton and offers an easy adjustable mechanism to provide a comfortable fit.  A must have item in the sunny days of summer.

Banners and Roadside Signs

Signage is important to draw attention to your farm, store and/or stand.  The OBA is happy to offer a number of options.

100% Ontario Honey Vinyl Banners are offered in two sizes.  The large banner is 8' x 30" and the smaller banner is 4' x 30".  Each banner is print on vinyl, machine hemmed and is complete with brass grommets for ease of installation.  Vinyl banners are very effective in promoting your product at farmer's markets and local events.  This easy to clean and store promotional item is a must for every Beekeeper.

100% Ontario Honey Aluminum Gatepost Signs are a durable way to advertise that honey is produced on your farm.  The aluminum gatepost sign is 5.5" by 18" in size and comes in three choices.  The bright yellow sign and black print will ensure that every traveller that goes by will realize 100% Ontario Honey is available at your farm.

DISPLAY

In today's competitive world, we often need to promote ourselves at local events.  The OBA currently offers a small table top display.  This table top display instantly provides colour pictures and information on bees and honey.  The colour panels can easily be removed and changed for your promotional information.

NEW ONTARIO HONEY LABEL

OBA has available a label template to assist you in designing a suitable product label for your consumer goods.  Your graphic designer or printer can use this template in developing a design.  A CD version of this label is also available through the OBA Office.

"PIERRE THE BEAR" Costume

In addition to signage and clothing, an exciting product has been created by Canadian Honey Council (CHC) to assist in promoting "100% Ontario Honey".  Imagine this bigger than life presence when "Pierre the Bear" makes an appearance at your local event or fair.  "Pierre" attracts the young and old with his sweet honey charm.

"Pierre the Bear" is a custom made costume available to OBA members.  The costume is complete with a cooling fan for those warm summer events.  "Pierre the Bear" is available for booking through the OBA office.  "Pierre" can be shipped or arrangements can be made to pick up at the OBA Administration Office.
