Position available: Professor of Beekeeping, Niagara College

Applications are invited for a full-time Professor, Agribusiness - Commercial Beekeeping, at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus of Niagara College. This position commences in August 2016.

Reporting to the Associate Dean, School of Environmental and Horticultural Studies, this exciting new role requires the successful candidate to provide an invitational learning environment to deliver courses in the newly developed Commercial Beekeeping program as well as other multidisciplinary courses within the Business, Hospitality & Environment Division.

The Professor is responsible for providing academic leadership and developing an effective learning environment for students in the Commercial Beekeeping program. This includes designing, revising and updating courses/curriculum; teaching assigned courses; consulting with stakeholders (faculty, community and industry partners); defining course objectives and evaluating student comprehension of objectives; utilizing a variety of instruction medium /resources; and providing individualized instruction where necessary.
