Antimicrobial Management for Beekeeping in Ontario - Guelph POSTPONED

Under the new regulations set forth by Health Canada, all antimicrobial use in agriculture is now controlled through a veterianarian prescription. This process will be new to the beekeeping industry, as antimicrobrial purchasing in the past has been over-the-counter. This workshops is designed to familarize veterinarians with the pests and diseases that afflict honey bees in Ontario, which diseases require antimicrobial treatments, the timing of treatments, as well as other information pertaining to the maintenence of honey bee health.
