Quinte Beekeepers' Association: Beekeeping, Honey & Hive Products Marketplace

Monday, April 8, 2013 - 7:00pm to Tuesday, April 9, 2013 - 8:45pm

At Parkdale Community Centre, 119 Birch Street, Belleville

Whether you are an experienced beekeeper, a wannabeekeeper or you just like to shop, there is something for everyone.  The Marketplace includes beekeeping suppliers from this area.  Find out what you need to become a beekeeper (yes, including the bees!).  Vendors will be showing wares specializing in products from the hive - honey, beeswax candles, skin creams, soaps, pollen, and more!

Learn about Beekeeping, Bees, and the Environment at the Quinte Beekeepers Information Booth.  What can you do to encourage pollinators in your yard or on your property?  Talk to an experienced beekeeper to find out what it takes to become one.

Taste different local honeys from the Quinte area at the Honey Tasting Table.  Think all honey tastes the same?  You’ll be surprised at the varied flavours of our local honey!

Beekeepers; this is the perfect opportunity to shop for your supplies for the upcoming season.

Enjoy a free honey baked treat with your tea or coffee.

Admission is free!  All are welcome.

 Participating Vendors Include:

 Dancing Bee Apiary (Beekeeping Supplies)

Busy Bee Beekeeping Supplies

Doug Stevenson Beekeeping Supplies

We look forward to a fun night!  Come and learn all about the bees!  Shop for wonderful hive products!  Questions?  Email Liz Corbett, ebcorbett@yahoo.ca , 613-827-7277
